People should expect free: a minimum good education for them and their kids, medical and health care benefits, security benefits in old age. They should expect: military protection from the foreign and domestic threats, disaster relief, good, fast, safe transportation systems, a fair police and judiciary system, a safe fair monetary system, a streamlined efficient government and it's services. The greatest trick any government ever did was convince it's citizens that they should settle for less, and to want more than that, was socialism. Link to comment

Of all the people I know who conceal or open carry a firearm, only one has used it in a situation to protect himself and others. He was at a restaurant, waiting to pick his girlfriend up from work. A man came in, threatened her, and tried to rob the place. My friend moved behind the criminal, demanded he get on the floor, with his pistol drawn. The robber abided. He lay there peacefully, until the Sheriff arrived, and hauled him off. No shots were fired. If you choose not to carry, so be it. I don't see anyone trying to force you to. Instead, respect the choice of others who feel justified in carrying. They may have a hand in saving someone you care about, some day. I support open carry ( I don't have a gun at this time but looking at a Taurus 513 UL 3"SS .410 3"/45LC) My daughter's boyfriend open carry's (9mm) & we get threw lines at restaurants like there's no tomorrow! :thumbup: .....................Cause Merica baby! :thumbup: 1 Link to comment
