Why, is this still a discussion? I wear and will continue to wear a mask in public. I have been antisocial, for the last couple of months, which wasn't a really big change. I even carry a small bottle of hand sanitizer. But, that's all they're going to get. The government forcing folks not to work, then providing police presence to insure safe evictions/foreclosures is a level of bullshit beyond comprehension.

I will not forgo working and slip into Covid induced bankruptcy. If I desire, to attend an event or a tavern, then I will (following the mask, sanitation, and distancing requirements). Won't mask with friends unless one of them is infected or someone in their household is infected."But, you could be infected and not know it."  I could get hit by a car or catch cancer- go fuck yourself.  I could isolate more and I could sanitize more, but I'm not. There sorted.

I'm often alone but never lonely. I seek time alone to be with and by myself. For a good 30 years I've worked outdoors so it's at least as natural as indoors to me. When out for my daily 5K walk I do run into the odd stranger and say good day. There are certain things I can do when at home indoors like be on Ratsun and watch movies, laundry dishes and cleaning while my wife works. In better weather there are Datsun projects in addition to home maintenance at home outside. Haven't been into town in two weeks and only to try replacing my coffee press. There's been little intrusion into my life by any organization. My moto? "Hell is other people"

If the US has another 150k deaths due to covid it will be equal to the number of deaths a year due to smoking cigarettes?

 

In Australia we only need 15 times the current number of covid deaths to equal smoking!

 

If our wonderful politicians in both countries hadn't due to either incompetence or design put sick people in direct contact with nursing homes then our numbers would be far less, estimates of upto 80% of our covid deaths are due to this monumental fuck up. Mainly in our soon to be (already there) China owned communist state of Victoria. But bring on state dependence, social welfare, government run everything, lock downs and total control, for our own good. 

 

Even if every human in the world caught covid it will kill less people than socialism/communism has? Perhaps this is a virus that is more of a threat?

Sooo my youngest ( identical twins)are severely disabled .. since they have been alive (19 years) ,, every year we have been doing the hand sanitizer washing toys , since they don’t speak ,,, when they become sick it’s already full blow shit ..

 

Since we like including family “stories” of heart ship in this thread to add some sort of impact .. TWO of their class mates/play mates ,, since kindergarten has passed away before they would have normally graduated.. 

 

but back to my sons 

 In 2009 ( then 8 year olds)   They both caught H1N1 swine flu,, one was hospitalized for more than a week .. the other was taken care at home for same time..

 

NONE of you self righteous mask shamers wore a mask then , “ to save the more vulnerable” .... why is it so important for ME to wear a mask for YOU or your kids/grandparents now??  

after this blows over YOU will take off your mask during flu season.... putting all the less fortunate at extreme risk .. but outta news outta sight I guess .. but fuck it why should you care ... Right??

My brother in laws buddy built them a huge 4 poster waterbed with a mirror on top of it... Both brother-in-law  and my sister used to say ,  it’s all well and good, till you woke up in the morning,,,, and there you were
