But, multi-national-corporations won't be as affected by governors, as corporations don't seem to run the same kind of fever during the "cold and flu season." Toyota 4Runners can have more chips than ever, because the production of SUVs will be bottlenecked across the industry, and prices don't mean anything if you can't comfortably board an airplane, anyway. Banks got to be loving the prices of residential real-estate, as prior to '20, you technically needed a permit to conduct any kind commercial or institutional enterprise from land zoned as residential - and corporations and institutions needed more heated and covered roofed space anyways. This is classic colonialism, with modern technology. What I see is the subjugation of people, because what has been created is their/our real dependencies based on a superficial reality. I can't even watch porn on my laptop running Firefox on Ubuntu, as the video codecs are expensive and proprietary. But no problem doing it using a regular operating system, built for someone's phone or tablet, which also happens to be how parents, or girlfriends / boyfriends / spouses keep up with the whereabouts of their kids, or girlfriends / boyfriends / spouses, and the 5G phone upgrade, which keeps us in touch while we are all socially distancing each other, is free. Looks like unless you are a small island nation with a civilized population that doesn't riot like New Zealand it doesn't seem to be a whole lot better in the more populous countries. It seems countries with lower obesity rates seem to fair better as far as people that actually die from this. It seems to have run its course once omicron makes the rounds.
