Since my oldest is home in mornings now to watch the babies,,  i picked up my son Albert after drivers ed. The other mommys were looking pretty confused when he hopped behind the wheel of the lizard mobile and drove off,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, loudly.

A little late but yesterday my Datsun took me about 30 miles away to a shop to see about having a block bored. I think it was well worth the trip.

It rained so I drove to work for an hour, then out of town for a coffee. Got to pound a few dozen gears.

My dad's '69 4-door 510 was that color. It was the car I learned to drive in. Mom got rid of it when the clutch started going. She didn't want to fix it :(  Ah, memories.

Finally got my Ratsun 521 registered and on the road.  Took a short test drive this afternoon, and this evening, wenr to a local grocery store.

Yeah she sold it to a friend and we'd see it around. Don't know what happened to it after she got rid of it.

Today we went to a STAR station to get smogged. Good gawd they check EVERYTHING. Checked the pressure in the gas tank, checked the gas cap, checked the engine, checked the tailpipe. Fawk! I had to get an OEM cap cause my locking one would never pass but after test I put the locking one back on. He passed! Fuck you California and your stupid smogging!
