My 2 cents....I kinda like the ratsun on the oil filter....the rays of the sun pull you into that focal point. Keep up the good work' Oh by the way Al Hate to tel you but you need to ad another name to the donation list, Gene Knight donated the 2 amber, 2 red marker light lenses and the 4 chrome rings for them he even paid for the shipping, I have never known Gene to donate anything so this is really special! LOL Also if there is something else that you need let me know as I will be shipping the correct heater part on Tuesday. DanielC Posted May 25, 2015 Report Share Posted May 25, 2015 I have been down to work on the truck twice, and hauled some upholstery down on the second trip. Sometimes I have asked Albert a question, and it takes a few days to get a response. Albert is more busy than any one can imagine. And I think he is focusing on getting done what needs to get done NOW, rather than answering every question on the truck. Coordinating all the people coming down, putting up with new strangers in his yard, and feeding the people, has to be a night mare. I told albert this has to be like herding cats. Only much worse. His wife is also putting up with all this stuff, and people in their house. I believe Albert needs a front bumper. Probably needs the bumper brackets that hold the bumper to the frame, the small "Z" shaped brackets that hold the ends of the bumper to the front apron, and the rubber biscuits that go on the inside, and outside otf the apron, by the "Z" brackets, and the bolts for that, also. When I left on Saturday, the bolts to hold the alternator lower bracket to the engine were missing, or at least not where I looked. The engine is using the thicker cast lower bracket. With my limited time down there, if I could not find something, like the alternator bolts, I would just look, and see something else that needs to be done, and do that. 4 Quote Link to comment

Well sorry you feel that way Ted , I have made my best attempt to involve as many people as possible . I've tried to follow up with every single person , even if I cant use the part offered . In your case all I can find 3 postings in this entire thread , 1st offering some brake adjusters , which was directly answered by Draker . The 2nd two complaining that about the fact that your offer to supply parts has gone unanswered . And to make sure I didn't miss something , I just looked back threw 4 pages and over 200 pm's . I can find one from you offering parts . Is it possible you posted these "offers" elsewhere ? All I've tried to do here is involve as man people as possible in this build . I've did my best to try and control this build in a manner than everyone can see or go back threw the build and see every ones efforts and donations, Whether that be a part/labor/donation it's all here . Just discovered Ratsun a couple years ago....have had datsuns for 20y. Raved about the wealth of info/pics etc Ratsun provides. Never gave the name "Ratsun"much thought until recently. We definitely have a George Orwell-1984-big brother type RAT here on the 'forum'. Kinda funny Al and I have had the same mutual friend(EVIL SANTA) for a long time but just got 2 know each other over this build. Then met a bunch of local guys that share the datto-passion.
