Anyone watching the Oversight hearing of FBI director Comey?

The partisan split is huge on this comity. Anyone with a D in their affiliation column refuses to ask anything associated with Comeys investigation into Clinton. They take their set time insult anyone on the comity with R in the affiliation column instead or just give glowing smarmy ass kissing assessments of Comey.

Yet on the R column these comity reps have asked for actual insightful information about the investigation and process so as to write new legislation that cannot shield willful ignorance as a reason someone should go unpunished.

Comey himself even said that acts like this shouldn't go unpunished. It's just he has no constitutional definitive law that he would recommend Hilary being prosecuted under.

He is not willing to risk his reputation to suggest she be prosecuted under an authored law from 1917....

This a total shit show. Laws are only for the little people who can't afford to be navigated through the loop holes.

Yes there is...it's called gross negligence.....they just refuse to apply it cuz.....Clinton.

What do you expect Matt, it's business as usual in the halls of Washington, not to mention it's an election year. This is not the first time we've seen this shit, nor will it be the last. Here's an interesting question though, are these investigations politically motivated? Ask Nixon. We spent under $15 million investigation 9/11, but spent over $150 million impeaching Bill for lying about a blow job a few years earlier. Business as usual.

What is missing from all this BS is that Federal Law says that any personal items used in the conduct of Government business becomes US Government property!  So march in, grab the server, the PCs and the PDAs [ and probably the easy chair ] and do the good job that the good folks at FBI and Fort Meade can do!  Quit pussy footing aroud, you don't have to ask or beg!  The FBI is primary in investigating domestic intelligence and spying violations, but can request limited assistance, under oversight, from the NSA.  Thank Harry Truman for this clear deliniation of responsibility.  Oh!  You didn't know that the NSA has no juristiction in US territories?  Apparently the NSA has forgotten their limits.

You'd think purposely deleting 30 thousand e-mails would prove intent....not if you're a Clinton!

Unless you're an expert, the deleted e-mails are still on the hard drive!  The OS is just asked to skip over the "deleted" files.  You have to do a reformat the actually clear the "deleted" files, but then there are "experts" who can recover much of this stuff.  Go to your C drive and look at the empty space.  Delete some files.  Go back to your C drive and see how little free space you have actually recovered!

If a single spinning get disk, ok. Server likely has several disks in raid.. and likely encrypted. Recovery not an option after a few minutes.

I don't mean to sound the alarm bells here, but we are in a very precarious position.  Have you guys seen the amount of people being killed by cops?  And specifically ethnicities?  And now I just checked google news and see this:

http://www.cnn.com/2016/07/07/us/philando-castile-alton-sterling-reaction/

History repeats itself.  I'm worried we may well have race riots or a second civil war at some point in the near future.  This is not good.

Also, if you get stopped by the police in the near future, it would be a very good idea to remain calm and be aware that they might be extremely edgy.  And as much as I hate to say this, that goes double if you aren't pasty-white like me.  I don't want any Ratsun brothers getting shot in the wake of these tragedies.

Think about the scandalous issues we have seen in the past, Benghazi, IRS, NSA, ect. Then think about the media diversions that erupt instantly and over shadow the real issue. School shootings, Racist Cops shooting people. Always in pairs political drama then a shooting overshadows
