Normally if you make the claim you should back it up. But I did exactly what you said and found nothing. Zero.

 

because it’s a felony to carry a weapon in dc. Open or concealed without a permit. And you ain’t getting a permit in dc.

I could be wrong but if a newspaper is biased in it's coverage and editorials, and if it doesn't want to print certain letters to the editor I think it can. You can't tell them what to print so your only recourse is to not buy their paper and get your news elsewhere. If a paper is wise it knows people will buy papers with good thought provoking editorials and coverage that is fair. Journalism began dying off around the time the internet got going. I'm sure they start off right and idealist, they just go off course. After 30 years or so I wonder what passes for 'journalism' in what ever schools teaches it? Thirty years of sucking on the same tit has blunted the public's taste for honest coverage of the news that's out there. It's like the lobster in a pot of cold water put on the stove. If it's gradual it never notices the bubbles.

Maybe was grenades or knives or fucking swords.  I am shocked at the images that popped up not being DC at all but other cities capitals from same day.  So yeah.  Here in Hawaii.  Not the best source.

The problem is that there was a paradigm shift. People are getting their news and "facts" from advertisement-fueled entertainment vectors, not from subscription-based journalists. News is a sideline affair - people are using social media for entertainment with some news on the side. They don't care if the news is accurate. They will continue to use the social media for the entertainment value even if you show them the news sideline is patently false. The dishonest news just becomes pervasive.
