Maybe isolationism is the answer. Now that the open market system killed communism, it would be fitting for us to run full circle and build our own iron curtain so we can lock the world out. Yes, they had their day and time, but now they are just money sucking machines that have created a class of lazy, worthless job leeches. Was in the UAW in the 70s. Guy came in fall down drunk Fri night shift. He worked alone setting frames from a freight car onto the beginning of the assy line. Foreman eventually noticed and started watching him fumble around. Called a cab, fired his ass and sent him home 40 miles. He was back at work the following Wednesday. With back pay for Fri Mon and Tues. People with less seniority who had posted written grievances had them traded away like cash so this fuck could come back. 1 Link to comment
