Dguy210
Nice, thats on my list for the next pistol purchase. Plan to use it as a CCW. You getting the hell out of CA or going to try for the pain of a CA CCW? Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
You getting the hell out of CA or going to try for the pain of a CA CCW? Little known fact. California law permits you to carry a concealed weapon without permit if you have a reasonable belief that you are in iminant danger. Your public defender probably would not know or care about this fact. Quote Link to comment

Skib
You getting the hell out of CA or going to try for the pain of a CA CCW? Both lol Luckily I happen to live in what may be the last county in the state where the Sheriffs actually encourage it. All I have to do is take the class, which the Sheriff offers, and turn in my paperwork. 2 Quote Link to comment

A person may carry a loaded, concealed firearm in public without a permit if the person reasonably believes that he or she is in grave danger because of circumstances forming the basis of a current restraining order issued by a court, if the court that issued the restraining order found that the defendant poses a threat to the gun owner’s life or safety.2 http://lawcenter.giffords.org/concealed-weapons-permitting-in-california/ Quote Link to comment

mainer311
Holy fuck Batman! Well over here in Massafuckmechusetts, I received a letter in the mail from the state yesterday, telling me to turn in my bumpstock to the local PD within a 90 day grace period starting February 1st...or else I’ll be a felon. On top of that, there is NO CONPENSATION WHATSOEVER. What really makes me laugh is that they proclaim the law states that I cannot sell or transfer the item. Bump stocks are neither serialized or traced. How would they even know I had one? Can’t sell it? The hell I can’t. This is the beginning of the end...a state passing law that makes a formerly legal item illegal, and then taking an item that you paid money for (i.e. personal property) without any compensation. What’s next? Time to vote these pieces of shit out of office. Quote Link to comment
mainer311
BTW, I see no real point to bump stocks and don’t own one. They’re basically a novelty item, but that doesn’t change the fact that state governments are walking all over our gun rights. 1 Quote Link to comment
q-tip
I knew they were proposing a high cap ban but I don't know it would make me a felon, fucking fucks..... 1 Quote Link to comment

"The “Takings Clause” of the Fifth Amendment to the federal constitution prohibits taking private property “for public use, without just compensation.” This prohibition applies to the states through the 14th Amendment. While the Takings Clause is often discussed in the context of land and real estate, it also applies to personal property. The clause applies to actual confiscations of property as well as to regulatory takings (e.g., laws that deprive a property owner of all beneficial use of the property)." https://www.cga.ct.gov/2013/rpt/2013-R-0079.htm 3 Quote Link to comment

That is a law that declares prior existing legal things or actions to be illegal and subject to a finding of judicial guilt . Most lawyers, and legislators, are too illiterate to read the US Constitution before shitting through their teeth! 3 Quote Link to comment

Dguy210
S&W MP15 Sport II or Colt LE6920? S&W But neither sucks. So many good and inexpensive AR-15s out there anymore. 1 Quote Link to comment
Soundline
S&W. Colt’s internals are slightly different sizes and are not interchangeable. I went through this with the police patrol rifles in 2010-15. Dealing with colt was a fucking nightmare as well. S&W... standard mil-spec or commercial parts. Break a spring, wanna replace some factory shit with go fast shit, or if you want to carry an extra firing pin for the zombie apocalypse, do the S&W. You wanna brag about how you have a Colt.... buy a Colt. 2 Quote Link to comment

NWarmory has the SW and the Ruger both for $499, a bit of a drive for you but so you have a price reference for local. Probably been posted before but this site: https://www.reddit.com/r/gundeals/new/is NSFYW: not safe for your wallet 1 Quote Link to comment
