Seriously.  A1.  Shake the hands of Veterans.  A2.  Express Disgust to the situation without taking sides.  B.  Talk about how wonderful our country is doing, emphasizing employment and attrition.  Imply that our country is wounded and frail and in need of recovery.  C.   Relate the pat on the back to the current crisis cementing the positive association with the event.  D. Commend the government agencies that working on site.  E.  Make a comment about how we should all just get along.  F.  Cement the idea that things have changed, and they wont go back to the way they were.  Get used to it, and embrace the change.

I am disturbed with the lack of empathy for the fact that Americans are doing this to each other not some impoverished 3rd world military state.

 

These people don't represent "Americans" very well, and as such do not receive my empathy.  People that work hard to support themselves and their families through righteous means and are then maligned, oppressed, or otherwise impaired by an unjust outside force have my empathy.  Most of the people in these marches are a drain on society.
