angliagt
Yes I did.It was a really cool rig,but I couldn't stand for it to just sit outside in the Winter & rust away (it was 20" long). 1 Quote Link to comment
angliagt
Went to a local cruise in,& saw this 1969 Galaxie on the way. The cruise in was a bust,as only about 15 cars there, with (mostly) old guys sitting around in chairs. The Galaxie was for sale, for $13,000! 1 Quote Link to comment

It does look mint but 4 door. OK wait does it have a posi rear, WTF did Ford call them? 2 Quote Link to comment

The LSD was marketed as an "EquaLock differential", and the door tag would have an A, D, or F on the axle code (letter for LSD, number for open diff). And all the LSD cars had shitty gears IMO... I went to look at one a few months ago. Too bad they wanted 12k for it. Guy said it just came back from his mechanic and runs great with no issues. Mean while there was a pool of oil on the back of the engine, out of sight unless you were looking. His story also didn't line up with what his wife was saying. Damn estate sale bums. 2 Quote Link to comment
ratpatrol66
64 Pontiac Tempest 4 door is more rare than a 64 GTO these days but doesn't mean more valuable. It is absolutely way more affordable. The crooked gas filler door devalues it by 10%. Either a straight 6 or 326ci 2bbl with 2spd trans. 2 Quote Link to comment
iceman510
I could tell it was a Pontiac, but couldn't really recognize the model from that angle. I noticed the fuel door too. 😁 Quote Link to comment
