They were here for The Route 66 Fun Run this weekend. Not sure how many cars, well over 800 though.

That was a very nice 55 Chevy Bel Air.

Hanging out in Florida, I stopped at Home Depot And saw this bus, it’s shortened with two front ends. The rear front end has red lenses in the light buckets, the exhaust came out the side, I couldn’t get a look at the motor. Trippy little VW!

This thing popped up near the grocery store today. $20k. Belonged to a buy/pay here dealer for years. He had a convertible mate to it (much nicer) but sold it earlier.

         I saw one paked on the side of the road near Fries,VA today.

Saw These on Today's Drive.The guy who has the '65 Galaxie

for sale also has a '74 Cougar in great shape.Told me he was going

to ask $2600 for it.

       I should have gotten some pictures of it.

Cars just lying around everywhere...

 

I remember one time on a trek across Illinois, Indiana and Ohio on Hwy 24 I saw maybe 10 Corvairs in people's yards on the way.  Crazy how many old cars are sitting around in rural areas.

          I talked to the owner of the shop.Said it belonged to a customer,

& it's been there for a while.I think it might be for sale.The bad thing is

that it's an automatic.

             There were a few more interesting cars inside the shop.There was

a 67 Barracuda notchback,a Celica,& a '66 Cadillac convertible.

A friend has a Rabbit truck I was considering for a project, and I thought one of these might be just as cool...

Actually, either would get converted to RWD...  😄

 

 

 

Using the Dodge Rampage opens up the option of several different RWD Mopar engines. Using the Caddy almost guarantees using a non-VW engine.
