  1. First time I've had a problem bleeding a slave cylinder, done several in the past with no problems. I did try another clutch master and slave that I know are good and still didn't get the slave to move far enough to allow the trans to engage. Talked to H2izzo aka Tim Dalby when I was at Dave Pattersons wake. He mentioned a high spot in the clutch line on the firewall might be the the problem. Not sure if that's where the problem is. I'm going to look into back flow bleeding but not 100% sure how yet, plus I don't want brake fluid on the paint in the engine compartment. Need a way to
  2. To be sure the clutch at the slave cylinder is properly working, the movement at the clutch fork has to move 1 3/4" or was it 1 1/4". I'll have to check my Datsun book to be sure. Measure it to be sure. Guessing or assuming is not a option, lol If that's good, check the tranny fluid (G4). I say that cause you didn't mention that you checked the fluid level. My 78 620 I bled 2 qts through the system, after installing a new clutch set, it's still not working, that was 9 yrs ago. Been hoping someone on the form can come up with a solution since this isn't the first time I've read this hap

  4. Never heard about the Turbonique until it came across my U-tube feed. Very cool stuff. Looked up the Inch pincher, to bad it's long gone with the hauler. Would have made a great museum piece.

    1971 Datsun 521

I've got a few L20's I'd sell, if only you were closer. Try the "classifieds" if your selling off the unneeded parts, you'll have better luck selling there. > https://ratsun.net/classifieds/
  8. I bought it for $400.00 with no title. Contacted the last owner and explained if I sell it and it's used in a crime, she would be contacted by the po po's. We got the title taken care of 2 weeks before she passed away. Before I sold it, I removed the steering wheel, ribbed VC and the bumperettes. Steering wheel and and VC were replaced before selling it for $800. Been looking for that truck since then, no where to be found.
  9. the trick is to keep the panels cool, don't hit them straight on. Sandblasted a set of NOS 66 Nova 1/4 panels by standing back from the 1/4's about 20 feet and hit the panels at a angle. Don't stay in one area for to long, keep it moving so heat doesn't buildup. You can come back if a spot is missed. This was done with a professional blaster and not a home DIY blaster. Used a fine sand, not sure which one, been over 15 yrs ago. Might take a little longer but the results are great. The floors on Datsun beds are thicker then the side panels. Sand the outside and inside 1/4's like Charlie

  14. update on the score !!! just curious, how many of you TRUMP haters still support Biden ? Please tell us, WHY ? No, I'm not baiting you, just wonder what has Biden done that makes you think Bidens for American's. And the reason Biden hasn't got the nuke codes yet is the fake ballots are still in the news, just not on your MSM,CNN or Fux's.
  15. I might have a 78 or 79 620 dash harness. The 74 will be not be the same since the harnesses changed through the years. 74- Points vs 78/79- Electronics. Thinking off the top of my head, it's a 78 cause electronic box mounted inside the cab. Will check it out today. PM me if interested.
