  1. Was at the shop yesterday and seen I still had a used 620 dash with cracks. How complete does it have to be ? It's missing the vents, glove box door and dash insert. It's basically the main part of dash only. Was you still looking or did you score one yet.

  6. thought about posting in the joke thread but theirs to much truth in it. The king wanted to go fishing, and he asked the royal weather forecaster the forecast for the next few hours. The palace meteorologist assured him that there was no chance of rain. So the King and the Queen went fishing.   7. Just changed my 35 amp alternator over to a 60 amp in my 71 521 by buying a alternator for a 77 200sx from O Reilly's, alt # R111285A. This is a non regulator alternator. The lower 521 / L16 alt mount is a 2 bolt and not a 3 bolts. Not sure what your 74 620 is using. I slotted / filed the mounting holes about 3/16" so it would move the lower alternator bracket back so the belt will line up with the other pulleys. Then I took a J engine upper alt bracket, opened the adjustment slot end, cut off the adjustment end ( not sure if 1" or 1 1/2" ) of the L16/18 upper bracket, welded it to the J bracket adjustment slotted end. This gives you the movement you'll need to keep the alternator from hitting the lower radiator inlet housing. Plus it allows to rest the alternator on the idler arm if I need to. Not sure if it's the same as for a 620. As for the belt, I ended up getting a masterPRO from O Reilly's part number 7365. It placed the alternator in the middle between the engine and frame. By using this alternator, it was a plug and play. I'll post pic's later, hav to go get stuff done right now.
  8. with a king cab you can hide your personal stuff behind the bucket seats, standard cabs have bench seats, not much room to hide your stuff. if your wanting a king cab, get a 78 or 79 cause they have front disc brakes, electronic ignition, might have a 5 speed, the 79 620 has intermitted wipers, 78's don't. good luck with your search what ever you get.

The other thing is, if you stay unpoked, there’s a chance the virus could possibly mutate into a strain that escapes the pokes protection, putting all poked people at risk. ME: So the poke stops the virus from mutating? CDC: No. ME: So it can still mutate in poked people? CDC: Yes. ME: This seems confusing. If the poke doesn’t stop mutations, and it doesn’t stop infections, then how does me getting poked help prevent a more deadly strain from evolving to escape the poke? CDC: You aren’t listening, okay? The bottom line is: as long as you are unpoked, you pose a threat to poked people. ME: But what KIND of threat?? CDC: The threat that they could get a serious case of Covid and possibly die. ME: My brain hurts. Didn’t you JUST say that the poke doesn’t keep people from catching Covid, but prevents a serious case or dying? Now it seems like you’re saying poked people can still easily die from Covid even after they got the poke just by running into an unpoked person! Which is it?? CDC: That’s it, we’re hanging up now. ME: Wait! I just want to make sure I understand all this. So, even if I ALREADY had Covid, I should STILL get poked, because we don’t know how long natural immunity lasts, and we also don’t know how long poke immunity lasts. And I should get the poke to keep a poked person from catching Covid from me, but even if I get the poke, I can give it to the poked person anyways.     Can't tell what you got going on in the pic cause of the fat red circle but here's what I've got on my 71 521. I removed my air pump since it was seized and capped off the hose line under the carb as seen in the pic. Also noticed you've got a intake bolt missing. That will cause your engine to rev higher.
