Some friends of mine "distracted" me for a while so they could do this . . . :P

Sad news. The '68 Rat got punched in the nose last night. Tommy was out screwing around on a dirt road (against my rules) and as to be expected, he was going too fast and flew off the road and went through a wood sign. Tommy is okay and grounded for the rest of the year. The Rat is a little messed up. It took the 6x6 post just right of center, between the right side head lights and the hard to find '68 grill emblem. The rest of the grill not too bad. The radiator got cut by the passenger side bumper, good thing I have a spare.

I'm pretty bummed!

The crash happened 6 hours after we sold Tommy's '68 4 door! Go figure . . .

I'll get some pictures up soon. :crying:

So sorry to hear that Bob! But so happy Tommy is ok! What a twist of emotions for you, pissed and sad about the car, and so happy your boy is safe at the same time! But the latter is a lot to be thankful for on this day.

I think you should disown him! I'm up for adoption. biggrin.gif

Seriously though, just glad to hear that Tommy is OK. I'm sure his guilt is more punishment than you could possibly come up with, aside from the grounding of coarse. Hope your day with your family on this day of thanks giving is enough to get through the frustration.

Looks like it's time for a "Rat Build - Take 2" with Tommy doing a LOT of the work.
