The Dat-side
Here's our latest, Nimbus. He showed up at my wife's work, had been hit by a car. Fractured jaw, broken pelvis, dislocated tail, scraped up paws. He's neutered and declawed, so no chance of surviving. Just have to get his tail amputated and he'll be good as new (minus a tail). wayno
This is rather annoying, they are still nursing after like 3 months. The issue that bothers me is that they are nursing a boy cat, and he is putting up with it. Quote Link to comment

Ratwagon1600
The rotti was the runt of the litter when I got her and is now 12. KD (short for killer dog). Had to boost her self esteem somehow Cancer finally got the best of my beloved Rotti today :( The kindest thing I could do was let her go to sleep with dignity, and free of pain. R.I.P black hound, I miss you dreadfully already. 1 Quote Link to comment

elmerfudpucker
The last walk is the greatest respect an owner can give to a beloved pet, for even the slightest touch of a masters hand can make a dog forget every thing else. Granted it is the most painful to you but they are worth it for the life + love they have given in return to not be sent off alone. My condolences for your loss. 1 Quote Link to comment
DatWifey
:crying: Sorry for your loss Rat. That is one of the hardest decisions to have to make, and to feel like you made the right choice, but helping them be out of the pain is the right way to go. Fucking Elmer, your noble posts about the dogs here and on FB always get me! Makes me well up with tears often when I read your posts on this topic. Hope all is going well still in KY. We miss you out here. 1 Quote Link to comment

Z Speed
Dog's should live longer than their owners. That way, they can be there to piss on our graves when we're gone. Mine would probably just dig my shit up though.... Seriously, it's a sad day to have to do the right thing. They mean more that just being a buddy.... Quote Link to comment
