bilzbobaggins Posted May 6, 2011 Report Share Posted May 6, 2011 Cut a new cork seal for my oil cap, put a new speedometer cable on so I can tell how fast im not going, put the accel cable I got from the pull a part to replace my frayed one and tested my roo bag I got as well. Much happier sound from the pump and its not sprayed black like the one that came with my truck. Just gotta clean and hang back up!!! Its a Good Day Jeff Quote Link to comment

wildmaninid Posted June 19, 2011 Report Share Posted June 19, 2011 Well, since Canby, I have been doing a bunch of work to my truck! I know it has only been a week since Canby! The interior is going over to the upholstery shop. New seat cover, door panels and kick panels are all going to be wrapped in matching fabric. So since I had everything coming out, I decided I want to protect my rust free floors, I am covering it in bedliner. Pretty strong durable stuff, and it has quited down the inside considerably. Here are some oics of my fun..... Stripped out the inside, popped drain plugs Looks like tons of rust.... actually just the sound deadening fiber off the carpet left rear cab mount. most of my other dattos had bad rust here there was actually some rust where the sound deadener was, just surface though The floorpan after I wire wheeled everything, scuffed the paint up real well and wiped it all down with MEK the first coat of bedliner second coat! And decided to go up the back wall a bit as well. All in all turned out good! I even had some help from Jake dog Quote Link to comment

wildmaninid Posted June 23, 2011 Report Share Posted June 23, 2011 So my bedliner floor turned out so good, I decided to go ahead and do my inner fenders and backs of the new fenders that are going on the truck. I did the same deal, wire wheeled, wiped down with MEK and did 2 coats of bedliner. this stuff is thick and durable.......i have no rust through on this entire truck (save for the fenders that came off)and i want to keep it that way.....
