bananahamuck
I really want to figure out what these wheels are .. The only identification marks are on back of wheel on mounting face ,,, says,, Made in England and the stamped letters SB .. They are very light and look alot like , alot of other wheels, except the way the spokes are cut out on front .. 14 x 6 Anyways here's the pics. And i/we believe they may be the wheels on this purple panel but not positive.. 1 Quote Link to comment

Tedman
^^^^ Now that's pretty funny! Made in GB so some sort of Minilite or clone thereof is my guess. Never seen that unusual center cutout style before. PS- Do I spy at least one Appliance Wire Mag in that wheel haul? Here's a couple of period ads for those, FWIW: 1 Quote Link to comment

bananahamuck
They can't be Japanese wheels ,, and if they were minilites someone on the internet would be able to post a picture of at least one more wheel .. These couldn't be the only ( almost( two sets in existence. 1 Quote Link to comment

SB is a wheel manufacturer in england... why not email them a pic and see what they say about them.... maybe even those other numbers might mean something to them... 1 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
Maybe for the after market in Britain. Quote Link to comment
distributorguy
Jaguar never used 4 lug wheels. They usually used knock-offs. Sometimes they had special Dunlop knock-offs that also used 4 lugs to index the wheel, but those are $$$$$s per set, but they are still wire wheels. They're an aftermarket wheel for British cars of course. SB. The center cut is different than all the current brands such as Panasport and Minilite. Its SB. Quote Link to comment
