Proof again that things are nuts right now!

For that price,I'd expect to see a modified, finished car.

The sad part of this bubble is that I'd expect many

510 owners to sell because of what they could get.

To me,this is only good if you're selling.

honestly how eloquently can you describe something that is the same shape as a cardboard box ..

"maintains it's rectilinear form with a dazzling degree of rectangularity."

An honest little car that does not pretend to be anything other than what it is, it's boxy but it's good.

I will have to take exception with the pretending to be something their not part About most 510s

.. have you went to a Datsun show.. You will see majority of 510 owners watching in approval as the younger 510 bois look upon their cars while masterbating so furiously  it sounds like a herd of wildebeest stampeding through a river in the Kalihari .

I'm not talking about the owners and what they do to them, or what they represent today, I'm talking about the car as it was built, as it was released.

No bells and whistles, simple basic transportation, clean lines and dependable.

When I was 16 back in 76 you could pick them up for $400 and a lot of guys in my High School had them.
