Skib
hood, fenders, and doors are ready for prime/reprime tomorrow got the rest of the 1/4 panels stripped and the trunk lid stripped. remember to use bondo wisely kids.... someone figured just slapping a shit ton of bondo magically fixes things haha Quote Link to comment
Skib
been kinda slackin on updates. hood, doors, fenders and roof are all in primer. and I got started on my 1/4 pannel. been putting it off cuz there was such a wide spread of bondo on it :geek: started grinding it all out.... clearly wasnt going to be good from the start... yup... not what I like to see.... not good. not good at all... time to torch out the craters of bondo.... yup, this is not good. fucked up. metal on the corner was ripped and crushed and most of it was a giant hole filled in with weld slag.... so I lopped that shit out. along with a bit of rust. new metal lol welds arnt to terrible when I have gas :P and this came today  been waiting forever... had to come from Japan to Canada and then to here haha Quote Link to comment
Tristin
That wheel si nice Skib! I love the dark wood with black spokes... jelly. Oh... and the welds are nice too. Quote Link to comment
Skib
lol the way my cars going to be set up over all... it was the only wheel choice. I had to have it lol no other wheel would be right  Nardi wood grain is perfect. Quote Link to comment
Farmer Joe
damn... thats gotta be one of the worst quarter panels ive ever seen... Quote Link to comment
Skib
yeah tell me about it. I spent a whole day just staring at it.... .... pondering about fixing it... ...taking a 100 steps back and starting on a new shell.... ... putting the box flares back on... ... cursing at it... lol but ultimately decided to fix it. even tho its going to be a shit ton of hammer and dolly, heat shrinking, and stud gunning. cuz thats how you DONT fix a fuckin 1/4 pannel...bondo was close to 1 inch thick in some spots. Quote Link to comment
bonvo
why did you decide to fix it so you can learn? a new quarter seems like it would be easier i admit im guilty of bondo magic but my hood was to far gone to do anything else but that quarter looks like it was someones bb gun target Quote Link to comment
