Got the rest of the rocker protection tube supports in. Set them to the body seam and then bent it up for extra clearance.

Got most of the fab out of the way as far as the frame goes. Dug in to the timing chain this weekend. Thanks to Shonuff, everything went pretty quick. I still have to put it back together, but I have everything ready to go so the motor should be back together tonight.

Pics... BTW there was a bit of a rattle on startup, I think we found the problem

..and for those that were asking about the engine bay crossmember. Easily removed with an allen wrench and leaves plenty of room to work.

Picked up an early 720 steering column, should bolt right up for the most part. Still need to do the radiator, tie rod and drag link, brake lines and fluids. Should be done just in time to load it up on Thursday and go camping for a week.

Of course :)

Got my radiator modified.

Step one: Destroy a perfectly good radiator to figure out how it is put together

Step two: Pick up another radiator at pick n pull and be more carefuller this time.

Tonight will be steering. Then it's time to make sure all the bolts are tight and everything has fluids.
