Yeah, my CJ eventually ripped the front frame at the spring mounts from the suspension flex and steering push. The rear coming apart at the spring mounts is what finally did it in and there wasn't any steering back there.Even with a panhard it would have come apart as it adds another stress point to the system. This frame will be set up to resist the suspension and steering forces, hopefully it will just eat up the spring bushings giving me a cheap fuse.

Once the rear is linked, I'll be linking the up front, but for now it's use what I got to get the axle under there and 4 wheel drive working again. :)

Haha mine too :D

Got the box mount located, still need to trim it up a bit and reconfigure the cap plate. Once that's done, I can double check my shock hoop dimensions and bend them up.

Every time I make a course in the garage I have to dismantle it to work on stuff. Got a rock pile in the back yard though.

This Is An Extremely Stout Build :pirate:

It's a 620 build, I'll get to the Stout (I have in storage) eventually

The next couple pics show the direction I am headed. I'm trying to follow the original profile of the bumper and valance. The stock lights will be getting frenched into the bumper.

I'm in the process of moving the radiator back. I sectioned the core support and bent the previous forward angled portion back to meet up with where the radiator needs to sit. It should turn out pretty clean.

Clearances have gotten tight, but there is still plenty of room between everything. The lower radiator outlet is going to need to be replaced with a 45 to angle around the alternator.

Final steering box location. Pitman arm is ordered, once that comes in I can measure for my drag link and tie rod. Will be heading to pull a part this week to find a 720 column.
