This thread makes my head hurt on the original subject i highly highly doubt that car only has 23k on the clock from the few lame pics we have it looks haggard as for the rest of the shenanigans you guys sort it out im going back to building my datsun

So let me get this straight.  The spoiler is bolted to the original trunk lid.  (You can tell by the original paint and the low-boy factory spoiler on the lid) Then you go out and find a second trunk lid, and go to the trouble of making that one match the car? 

 

Everything is reinforced and bolted through.  Yet, you change the lids out regularly so you can drive the car to work? 

 

Personally, I would leave that big bad boy on there because race car...

 

Lock. The car exterior is stock. The trunk is reinforced underneath to improve structural integrity. Also have a stock lid for daily. Drive it to work often.
