I am glad I don't live in Alabama and am a law abiding citizen anyway;

This nominee is unqualified;

Meanwhile in Portland....

Don't you have carry permits down there???? Give them a 'whiff of lead'. If the lawyers don't like it give them one too.

Carry is very restricted in Portland. God help you if you ever pull a gun in that town. Ask Micheal Strickland when he gets out in 50 years.

                     Those people that want to give everything to the homeless

should have to shelter some of them in their homes.If that happened,I'm

sure there'd be a lot of excuses of how that was "unfair".

Wow, you are so right, my opinion has nothing to do with the fact that he has been practicing law for only three years and has actually never tried a case.

One thing about Trump supporters, I can always count on them to be intellectual giants and possessing of a keen intellect.

King Trump has the best supporters, the smartest, fittest and most patriotic of any recent pol. that comes to mind!

They are also famously never trolls!

We're working on going permit-less here.

Oklahoma's New Concealed Carry Law: What Troops Should Know

Oklahoma will soon allow U.S. military personnel to carry their personal firearms without a state-issued concealed carry permit, but commanders may not be so lenient, Pentagon officials maintain.

Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin recently signed legislation that allow active-duty, National Guard and Reserve members to carry a handgun without having to go through the application process for a concealed carry permit.

Senate Bill 35, authored by republican Sen. Kim David, goes into effect November 1 and authorizes military personnel who are 21 years of age or older to carry a handgun, concealed or unconcealed, as long as they possess a valid military identification card and a valid Oklahoma drivers license or an Oklahoma state photo ID.

Wow. Whoever wrote that legislation deserves a fucking award. Perhaps Darwin? Aren't like 1/3 of domestic mass shootings carried out by vets? Why the fuck would we further enable a group who has historically demonstrated the propensity to carry out mass shootings? Odd.

That said, I'd be on board with more vets carrying. I'd just want a qualifying standard that is intensive, and focused on mental health, and that is not only for vets/service members.

well, I don't know. pic below featured vets (that I know for sure) are John Allen Muhammad, Chris Dorner and Nidal Hassan...all army vets BTW. Obviously, Charles Wittman (USMC) would be on any list of veterans as well. No clue on percentage of mass murderers being vets honestly.

Did a search. Not sure if a good source, but it matches the stats I've heard over time.

Not sure about all of that but Unruh was indeed the first modern mass shooter. Literally, a WW2 veteran who just started killing people for no reason.

Howard Unruh’s “Walk of Death”

On Sept 6, 1949, Howard Unruh, a deranged but decorated World War II veteran, loaded himself up with ammunition and a German luger and with a dazed look, walked down River Street in the Cramer Hill section of Camden. He opened fire on some intended victims, and a few people that got in his way. His 20-minute rampage that killed 13 people and wounded 3 others had become known in the media as “The Walk Of Death.” It was also one of America’s first killing spree mass murders. Unruh became known as the father of mass murder.

Unruh was never declared competent to stand trial, and spend the rest of his days in Trenton State Prison. He died on Oct. 19, 2009 at the age of 88. He was the oldest person incarcerated in the state. He had no known survivors.

Oddly enough, we have lots of folks named Unruh in my part of the country and it's exclusively a Mennonite name here. Nicest folks you'd ever meet.

Under Obama the CFPB fined Wells Fargo $100 million for opening thousands of phony customer accounts.

The Trump administration thinks the CFPB is strangling business.

This comment ( not mine) says it all;

"Way to go Trumptards. Enjoy it when the next time you take out a payday loan ( we all know it's you folks who do this the most) and they come after you by implementing illegal collection tactics i.e. threats of arrest, threats of legal action, last night and early morning calls and showing up at your place of employment (Walmart). This will happen when you can no longer afford to pay the 700% interest they charge you and have that one big payment at the end (a practice this agency put an end to). When this happens, blame yourselves for voting an utter imbecile into office who will act against your own interests. Blame yourselves for being one issue voters who's one issue was a fake issue and was based on your hatred for a person you were told to hate rather than figuring it out on your own. Blame yourselves for the next mortgage foreclosure crisis when you are thrown out of your trailer. Blame yourselves the next time Wells Fargo creates bogus accounts in your name so that their executives can earn a bonus. Blame yourselves for it all Trumptards. It is you people who will be at fault. Not "liberals", not Democrats, not Hillary Clinton, her emails or the Clinton Foundation, not Barack Obama or Nancy Pelosi. It will be you people's fault."
