Also tightened the internals on my door mirror, now it doesn't collapse against the door on the freeway. It's a real bastard getting your arm inside the door when you're a fatman. Dolomite Posted January 10, 2015 Report Share Posted January 10, 2015 Today I adjusted my steering box as per Datsun Mike's directions. It went from an eighth or more of a turn of slop to near perfect, jacked it up and there's no binding or tight spots. Lubed the u joints in the drive line, when I was under the car I found a 2x4in cancerous rust spot, I'll fix that soon. Quote Link to comment

I just had to rough it, her dad is a great body man/painter and he's going to help me with the rest. I reinstalled the rear side markers that were thankfully not in when she hit it.
