jovial_cynic
Fabricated an exhaust flange to mate up to the SR20DET kit flexpipe. I cut up some old circular saw blades, welded them together to give it some thickness, and mated it up to the 2.25" exhaust pipe I have under the car. 1 Quote Link to comment
russaroll
i noticed you have an O2 bung welded in there. do you have a AFR gauge? do you like it? are they really as helpful as everyone says? Quote Link to comment
Ranman72
i noticed you have an O2 bung welded in there. do you have a AFR gauge? do you like it? are they really as helpful as everyone says? yes I have a wide band AFR and it is helpful to know what the carbs are doing if they are running rich or lean Quote Link to comment
mrbigtanker
yes I have a wide band AFR and it is helpful to know what the carbs are doing if they are running rich or lean Good idea i was actually going to ask you the same question. Quote Link to comment
russaroll
Thanks :) hearing from someone that actually has one is different than reading on the internet " it's good." I guess now is as good a time as any to drop the exhaust and get a bung welded in there. Since the motor out :/ Quote Link to comment
Ranman72
one time I thought something went wrong the car was running super lean but smelled rich the 02 censor went bad and I had to replace it Quote Link to comment
jovial_cynic
Went to order silicone connectors for my SR throttle body, and I ordered based on what I found online. Turns out I should have actually measured my throttle body. Somehow, I've got a 70mm throttle body on my car, and I have no clue what it's from. Quote Link to comment
freetheoranges
Pulled the valve cover to find I was missing a ...I want to say valve journal??... Put it back on like the others. Still can't get a correct idle... Might have to try to do timing and another valve adjustment. Scary. L20b. Sat in my dime most of the day.. drinking and thinking. edekalil
Finely got back downstairs and got the 72/510 started up and it did not flood out. Looked at my carb window and saw some minute trash that settled at the bottom. I will clean the trash out of the bowl today and clean the plugs up and try to get it out and run it some. Also letting the 72 wagon air out while it is a nice day. Quote Link to comment

russaroll
Just wondering what you used to coat that exhaust manifold? it was painted black. then i had this brilliant idea to wrap it :/ well i didn't much care for the wrap, so i cut it all off and this was the end result. it's like a powdery substance leftover from the wrap.
