datsunfreak
Made my spook straight today... with the help of some Longacre supports. I was wondering where to get some of those... Quote Link to comment
Son_of_a_Datsun_Guy
Longacre makes the best looking ones in my opinion, but you pay for them. They also make it difficult to use them without their special backing washers so you have to drop another $13 on those too. Quote Link to comment
edekalil
To much money going to the building lately replacing glass that got broken, no one went in. Now for the jail house look soon with bars behind the glass and an inside security door so no one can get upstairs. The good thing is no one came in. Nothing like getting a call from the local police 100 miles away while I am at work at 12 pm and I cannot leave for 8 hours till the shift is over. At least the glass shop put plate glass in instead of that temperd crap. Also got to change the water pump in the main ride 99 Crown Vic. Still have to get time to straiten out my 510's gas tank issues. Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
Plastic polish, or?? Still a little to do, but I worked on a steering column cover I picked up in Canby a bit: To this... Quote Link to comment
67_1600
Plastic polish, or?? 0000 steel wool first to get rid of the deeper scratches and then Autosol metal polish. The key I've found with the polish is to use your bare hand and rub until it just about burns. There are a few hazy spots on mine still, which is where I haven't worked the polish in quite as much. datsunfreak
I've always cheated and used a scotch-brite and semi-gloss paint. ^_^ Quote Link to comment
