Will
I stopped by Harry's U-pull it in West Hazelton, PA. today. They charge a 2-dollar entry fee, the checkout person is kinda rude, and it was snowing... but it is a huge yard and it was on my way home for Christmas, so I figured I'd stop by and check for Datsuns. They had a whole freakin' row of three-wheeled meter maid carts: ...and a V-4 Saab with NO floors: ...and a Tercel with bondo like a relief map: ...a boxy Corolla wagon that was pretty stripped out: ...Mercedes 190? this yard is sprinkled with crusty weird rides sometimes: ...Fiat 131?!? ...and finally, in the second-to-last row I checked - a DATSUN! an '83 280ZX. the transmission and rear end were already gone, but I nabbed the struts and front brakes for my 710" Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
wow, what fun. The yards here are full of oddball new and old cars too. I figure it is because with scrap price of $300/car people are finally selling to the yards. Quote Link to comment

hertzcarsales
It might be a cool thing if there was a place in the forum for a junk yard report... or not... it's great that there is this web site. Friday 7/20 I was at Porltand Wrecking on Columbia Blvd. There were two 620s that were pretty picked over but still had some goodies here and there. There was a '76 with a pretty intact L18 an OK tailgate and two nice doors that somebody stripped the window regulators out of, too bad. There were four 720s but I'm not really interested in them so I didn't look past the engines/trannys. Nothing to write home about. Usually, there is a 521 and some Z cars or a 1200, but there were no nissan cars in the whole place this time. I'm looking for Hardbodies to get front suspension parts to put discs on my 620. I have never seen a single one in the last three years or so. I hope to hit a couple more yards to day. Thanks dear for share the information.... Quote Link to comment

RedBanner
I pulled a wind shield today, easiest one ever, razer to the of theinside seal. I made several cutts perrallel to the glass went slow and got as close to the glass as I felt comfy with, bout 1/8th inch. After I pealed the inside seal off I sprayed it with break clean couse it was heavily coated in sealant. 5 min later me and my friend just pushed it out easy peasy. Quote Link to comment
DatWifey
'71 2 door at foster pick-n-pull lol.... this is awesome! I had our camera in my pocket, but forgot to even take any photos. This depicts the events very well though. I've never been pulling parts off the same car as four other people at the same time. Gotta love the willingness for all to have the respect to ask if somone else was going to take something, and to share. Merry Christmas to us!!! :D Quote Link to comment
