Sastis
Sun Valley LKQ '73 B210 in pretty decent shape '81 210 wagon pretty rusted and burnt out It's sad to see the b210 in a junkyard. My first car that I learn how to drive was in a automatic b210 just like that. If Dguy 210 was close, I'm pretty dame sure he would take parts of it. 1 Quote Link to comment

My Stanley was a junkyard save. 2 Quote Link to comment

Cleopatra Jones
Really? I didn't know that. I thought Stanley was a family car?? Wonder how I dreamed that up? Always wondered what a jy would charge for a whole vehicle. What did they charge for a whole vehicle back then? He's been around long enough to make a person think so. My dad bought him at a small used car lot. The guy that owned it, Walker, got Stanley from the junkyard. Someone trashed him for having a dent in the trunk. Lame. Not sure what he paid for it. My dad paid $1300 for Stanley which included fixing the trunk and repainting. Stanley was 8 years old when I got him. Now he's 35. All grown up :crying: 4 Quote Link to comment

Happy birthday to me from the Datsun gods! How do you (or anyone else) pull the entire engine when you are at these self-pull yards? Does the yard help you lift it after you unbolt everything? 2 Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
How do you (or anyone else) pull the entire engine when you are at these self-pull yards? Does the yard help you lift it after you unbolt everything? Some yards have hoists for use. It should only take 2 men to lift out an L4, as long as you have a pipe or something to chain to. Done it myself with one other guy. Maybe add one more for an L6 1 Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
Every diy yard where I live has gantry cranes for pulling engines. I also use them to lift cars to reposition the "Jack stands" when those are in my way. 1 Quote Link to comment

Bleach
That year of 240SX is worth something, and its straight! Strange that it ended up there. If someone picks that up for around $1200 (like many of their complete cars) then its probably a good deal. That car is likely a 1995-96 and is a sought after car, but not quite as sought after as the 1997-98 240SX. 2 Quote Link to comment

Cleopatra Jones
LKQ in Wilmington has a round eye 210. They list it as a 1980 but I can tell by the hood it's a '79. I forgot to look at the ID plate for the date. It's in rough shape. Some parts not so bad but there's bondo and nasty cancer on it. I grabbed the bumper ends for one of the gals on here. 2 Quote Link to comment

Bleach
There are dozens of full time parts pullers in Washington. They live at the wrecking yards and you can hire one through Row52 website. (its an option for getting parts from out of state) Quote Link to comment
