Unfortunately, we had a "wall" to stop incoming ICBMs, but for good and sufficient reasons shut it down within a year of putting it on line. It was the "SAFEGUARD" system in North Dakota. It was designed to nuke incoming Reentry Vehicles, and in test it did pass close enough to my simulated RV to blow a chunk off the RV skirt ablative material. The surviving RV was on display in the main lobby of the Space and Missile Systems program office in El Segundo CA for many years. The radar data showed the blow off of the ablative material and the physical evidence of a missing chunk on the recovered RV proves that at the rarified atmosphere of the intercept the shock wave was strong enough to damage the heat shield. I consider that to be a "hit" by any standard! The down side of the SAFEGUARD system was that the Nuke would certainly destroy the incoming RV, but would create an ionized blind spot that a follow on RV could sneak through. Also it was built with a Northern face only [damned book keepers!], thus nullifing defense against a FOBS [Fractional Orbit Ballistic System] approach from the Southern Hemisphere.

Until I see a party that is acting in the best interests of the American people, I remain a political agnostic. To invest in the corporate sponsored puppet show is a WAIST of your power for independent thinking based on logic and reasoning. In terms of a danger to peace and economic prosperity, Obama has done a far better job than Bush. That is a fact. Does that mean Democrats are better than Republicans? Fuck no! Both parties are saturated in corporate $$$. In my book, if any company is "too big to fail", than it must be broken apart for the safety and strength of the market. When Obama didn't split up the banks that caused the grand 08 harvest of public wealth, he showed where his allegiance laid.

It is difficult to separate the way we have been taught to see the world from what is really there, but if you're willing to set the passionate rhetoric of these parties aside, you can see there is far more middle ground than we have been lead to believe. We need to get corporate money out of politics, do away with unfair advantages in the tax system, and incentivize private investment in domestic development to rebuild the middle class. If we were to set our differences aside and band together, we could change this, but that is not in the best interests of the ruling class. If all you have to offer is bombastic partisan sound bits, you are WAISTING your energy. That is of no use to a productive conversation, and offers nothing but support for the divide and concur 1% machine.

Again I can't help but mention Bernie Sanders. No Superpacs. (Trump is his own Superpac.) Average donation of under $40 from actual people. Many, many people. Pretty sure it is way more individual donations than any other candidate. No fan of corporate media. No fan of Wall Street. Heh I am surprised he has gotten as far as he has. The DNC let him run because they just wanted to coronate queen Hilary, and figured Crazy Uncle Bernie stood no chance. Maybe they are right, but the millennials seem to dig him. They are hard to reach with traditional polling. If they get off there butts and actually vote it could get interesting.

Speaking as a millennial, frankly, millennials are idiots.

You got that right, the millennial love him because he's a socialist and want to give them everything for nothing, just like they feel they are entitled to. Fuck millenials fuck socialists and fuck politics.

Just a word of wisdom, don't use a shotgun for home defense, pulling a trigger on a 12 gauge in an enclosed space will fucking ruin your hearing, possibly permanently.

Wuss.  There's a .45 round in my spare bedroom closet.  It's not that loud.  ;)
