Rep-Walden has always gone to bat for the citizen rights on may occasions.

 

He made mention of Defazio in this clip, and it was a small snip of how that government lover is. (D) Defazio hated having to go along with the law assigning the BLM be responsible for the erecting the fences. 

 

Defazio uses the BLM as his personal federal police force here in our state.

Is this the true meaning of justice is blind? Are law makers blind to the injustice of the laws they write to justify taking from the public? No, these elected people know exactly what they're doing. What does Oregon land have in abundance? Fresh water. In the next 15 years, that will be the resource we are going to be fighting over, no oil. The Hammonds owned the water rights on land that sat on a lake, and the Gov wants control of it. Where did the BLM build a fence, around the water.

 

There are responsible ranchers who protect the land they use, because abusing it is like shooting themselves in the foot. There are also irresponsible ranchers who rape the land in the name of quick and easy profit. There are huge ranches in Arizona, Nevada, and Texas that are absolutely fucking up public land hard, but the Gov does nothing. Why, there is little to no standing fresh water there. 

 

What's sad about this video is that Harney county, although huge, has a very small population. I'm not sure, but it's likely Greg Walden is their only representative. In Washington, that's a huge power disadvantage. Ever see Mr. Smith goes to Washington.
