spudly13
coming along nicely! still on track for canby 14? that's still my goal, whether or not I'm on track... yet to be determined, I hate bodywork, its hard to get motivated to go sand for hours, once the things painted it'll go together quick, that's the kind of work I enjoy Quote Link to comment
spudly13
Alright guys. Im struggling with filler. its not sticking and currently im scraping it all off. Im going over the top of the epoxy primer, scuffed with 40 grit. Cleaned with acetone, mixed and spread. Its currently 55 degrees in the shop. Thoughts? Quote Link to comment
q-tip
Sounds like it might be too cold.... Quote Link to comment
hobbes_the_cat
Maybe the acetone. I had a problem with paint sticking one time using acetone to clean. I used auto body wax and grease remover and paint stuck fine. But I'm not an autobody guy... Quote Link to comment
jrock4224
shops warm, metal is still cold ... the hardest time of year to shop paint .. Quote Link to comment
Doctoraudio
Dude, you should not be doing filler right now! That is crazy.Moisture in the air is high. Heat the room up to like 75.You wasting time, find something else to work on.Have you every heard of a chunk of filler falling off a car? Quote Link to comment

I dont really have much else to work on until its painted, i mean theres always stuff to do but im kinda one track minded. Meybe start fixin up the KA Im trying to sell the e30, then i can just pay someone to do it, itll turn out better in the end that way anyways. 1 Quote Link to comment

Dirttrack510
I'm loving this build so far, but I gotta say... I still miss the ol' blue one. It was a sad day in Datsunville when that car got creamed. :console: 1 Quote Link to comment
