The owner said he bought it from his Mom's ex boyfriend who was the original owner. Said he's been trying to buy the car for 10 years then last week he got the phone call. 26,000 miles, original condition, paid $25,000. He had it appraised for over $100,000. He stopped at Gas Monkey Garage in Dallas to try to flip it, but Richard wouldn't give him enough. Best part of the whole encounter was this other guy came up and asked, "Is that an old Datsun?"
