Thanks! Those rims are my spares. Before I got the current one's I had them on, but never got the full set on. They're 15x8, probably about 0 offset I'm guessing? Pretty sure after comparing them, they're diamond racing's or some generic steel wheel.

I think it is a great idea. I was actually going to do the same thing but not of the tire brand. I was going to do what rwb does to his cars and places a local track on his tires.

We had a dirt track here locally that closed down. Going to place their old name on my tires. XD

what they drove.

I think it will fit my junk truck fine.

I haven't honestly even touched the tires since I had the idea

Speaking of which, I replaced the rear 205/60 with a 225/50 so it's a LOT nicer now and a ton smoother!

Also confirmed truck is getting LZ23 stroker soon! Give me about a month-2 and it should be in with a freshly rebuilt 5 speed!

LZ23 =

Z20E block

Z22 crank

Z20 long rods

86mm dished forged Mahle pistons

A87 Closed Chamber

.460 Racer Brown Cam

Big Z valves

and to top it off for now, A 32/36, Until I can afford to get a side draft 45 DCOE.

I have about $600 worth of parts that came in today. Exedy Stage 1 clutch, clutchless waterpump, trans bearing/seal/synchro kit, 12'' fan w/ thermostat, etc.

Gonna hang it, and see what i can work with[img=http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i471/Yatesphoto47/IMAG0968.jpg]IMAG0964.jpgIMAG0965.jpgIMAG0965.jpgIMAG0966.jpgbite me :fu: I cut it off after that picture

the a87 makes it an "L" z right?

Correct! I think we decided the compression with the closed A87 would come up to about 9:1 with the dished pistons.

What are the length of Z20 rods? Are they the same as L20b/Z22?

The Z20 had two different sets of rods iirc. The ones in this motor are different then L20b and are about 6'' long.

The truck will be hitting the dyno for before/after results.

Im jelious I need a gf now for datsun side boob shoots

She volunteered

Ordered some CHEAP LED lights off of Ebay for some additional brakelights. I don't feel like the stock stuff is very bright  :poke:  I haven't picked out a good high mount light for the camper shell yet.... but this is what I have that's going to be mounted low. When I get a little extra cash, I'll replace all the brakelights with GOOD LED stuff. And then install my flasher module.

Super cheap, so it's worth trying out.

Anyone know off hand what the biggest difference between the L16 and L28 clutchless water pumps is? Other then the pulley that is...

The shaft size appears to be a little larger, and the impeller design looks a little different... The L16 is a steel impeller, and the L28 uses a cast iron impeller.

I have an L28 pulley, and don't feel like sourcing out an L16 one if the L28 pump will work okay. It looks perfect.

Pulley v-line depth between the 2 as well. Mock it up yo ! (redbanner) ollz.

ive shimmed remanned water pumps that werent pressed on far enough or too far before on other cars ... maybe not professional but it worked.

L28 looks good hehe.
