tdaaj
It wasn't pretty, and car lost a lot of structural support. Ended up splitting in half eventually. Quote Link to comment
Cleopatra Jones
Sante Fe Springs Ecology '79 Z Didn't get the plate but judging by the grill it's either a '81 or '82 210 wagon. I took the speedometer and tach. Clock was broken. Wasn't much as far as dash pieces. Rear side markers were all cracked. I believe this was an '85 '78 Z Quote Link to comment

Cleopatra Jones
Went to the LKQ this morning in Sun Valley to check out the 210 they had listed before the rain hit. After I grabbed the stuff I wanted some dude kept trying to hit on me even after I told him I have a man. Was getting on my last nerve so I went through the rest of the yard real quick to see if there were any other Datsuns. I was about to shank that guy and throw his ass in the trunk of one of the cars. Perfect setting for dumping a body fool! [End rant] Anyway, the 210 was the only Datsun out there except for the other 210 that was there a couple weeks ago.Take a kayak with you cause there was some big ole puddles out there. Now on with the photos! I took the heater control unit and faceplate, the e-brake cover, steering column cover, 1/4 window latches and a couple other misc plastic bits. Instrument panel was gone. Glass was all good except the windshield. Looked like this one had a/c. 1981 210 Quote Link to comment
izzo
I am in need very badly for a set of door hinges for a 79 210 coupe. Other years may fit, just need the hinges super bad. If anyone can grab a set please let me know, have paypal ready to pay for them and shipping. Quote Link to comment
Cleopatra Jones
All years, front doors only, should work with your 210. You sure your hinges are bad? I had a door that went wonky and I thought I needed hinges but it turned out to be the bushings. Wasn't even the hinge pins that were bad. These cars have stupid plastic bushings in them. I got Sentra pins and bushings (which are brass) to fix my doors. Works nicely now. EDIT: What I mean by front doors only is that you can also get hinges from the front doors of a 4-door if you need them. Quote Link to comment

Seeker > 620 KC
1980 720 KC (not an ST model) went to Oceanside California Ecology Auto Wreckers today. Positives: running L20B motor (have a video from Saturday.) with distributor (ran out of time to snag it) good door panels and headliner, working rear diff and axles. If Ecology doesn't polk a hole in it as some yards to...it has a brand new gas tank (its huge,) Window cranks work and side windows may be ok. It has a goofy plastic construction worker tool box in the bed. Negatives: Trans & shifter are gone. No AC parts inside or out. All sheet metal, every plastic piece including dash is either super wrinkly, sun bleached, or mega-mega-broken. Grill and rear bumper are gone. Next to nothing works on the vehicle There isn't an intact light bucket or lens that works, and all the trim pieces are either missing or thrashed. Cab floors are rusted through, windshield has small cracks boards, drive line is there but missing the front yolk. Quote Link to comment

Seeker > 620 KC
I've heard of a backseat driver... but a back seat scrapper??? Yes, was mine. It was on Ratsun for eight days without a single reply. What makes you think it wasn't on CL??? It did have it on Craigslist for 2 days. I was overloaded with emails from junk car buyers, Hispanic gardeners I couldn't speak with who wanted me to find an interpreter, and flakes wanting to judge me for scrapping it, and wanted to argue to sell it to them whole. This all before I could even pull the parts I wanted from it. Got tired of arguing with all the Craigslist callers. Pulled the ad, pulled my parts and had to get it out of my driveway before my neighbors complained to my landlord. It had been there 8 days and that was already too long. It had been Craigslist with previous seller for nearly 2 months. How did you miss it both times? Ecology was dependable, agreed on a price, on time, and on my schedule instead of waiting for someone to hopefully show up and then want to re barter the price after already agreeing to one by phone. Sorry. If you need something from it, I told you where it is or will be soon. 1 Quote Link to comment
Mikeystoy
this is why my dad would rather crush the 620 KC than deal with people. I'd still like to see someone buy it. Quote Link to comment

littlejason
I saw that truck today. As you can see in the pic the fender is pretty good, they circled an area where the paint is cracked. I didn't notice the glass. It's a 4-speed. But yeah, still pretty complete. Quote Link to comment

thatdirtykid
Anyone looking for B210 parts in the denver area (like myself) the North Denver U Pull and Pay has a 72 210 in their inventory. However the car actually in the yard is a 240Z. No B210 . I don't have very good pictures (it was cold and blowing snow) and have not uploaded them. Gauges were still there. Not much else good in the interior, or was missing Body was rough, but not insanely rusty. Driver front fender was pushed in. Lights and bezels were still there. Motor and tranny were gone Most suspension still in place. Yes I will create a introductory thread, I need pictures of the car first! Quote Link to comment
67_1600
Not a new car, but in the back of a '78 Ford pickup on row 29 at the Lynnwood PnP there is an L16 long block. Nothing special, has a 210 head. There's also an instrument cluster and bezel plus a pair of seats. The seats look pretty bad though. 1 Quote Link to comment
Abe Froman
That looks like a 510 front cross member under the cluster, I wonder what else is in the back of the truck ? Quote Link to comment
67_1600
That looks like a 510 front cross member under the cluster, I wonder what else is in the back of the truck ? I thought about digging through it all to see what else might be in there but I didn't have time. I'll be there again tomorrow and might have more time then. There was a transmission as well but I don't have enough of a trained eye to tell exactly what it is. Quote Link to comment
