Good question. We can run with the cover since it is "bolted on". Since I didn't elect to cage it, we can only run time trials. I wouldn't want to race it as that could lead to body contact and that would be a BIG BUMMER! Quote Link to comment

The bed cover is bolted to tabs that are welded around the bed. There are ten mounting points total. I did this before it went in for paint. The brace across the bed is just for mounting the cover, not for bed strength as many people have assumed. Quote Link to comment
