I had a 6:20 in high school and I have one now and it's always been my dream

 

Over the last 10 years those 521s wink at me every time I see one

720s are for those that aren't quite Hardbody material.

 

 

We'll call them Softbody/D20.5 from now on.

521 if you're classy, 620 if you're a creepy minitrucker from the 70's, 720 if you don't have enough money for a Toyota, D21 if you're a painter/landscaper doing some side work.

521's look tough and are tough. There's nothing 'pretty' about them. Basic and utility, no creature comforts. If you drive one your beard will grow in.

620s are a step up in comfort and looks but for this you can get a larger engine and 5 speed. Long and short wheelbase and a king cab.

720s are slightly larger and even more comfortable with larger engines, including a diesel. Power steering and 4x4 and more options like sun roof and electric windows, pulse delay wipers, rear window defog, carpeting........

The 620 is my favorite truck of all time. I was wondering the other day and even google searched the actual guy that designed the body, but nothing comes up. 

 

Lifted or lowered works for me, stock even looks great but I don't have one of those. :lol:

I like 521s low, 620s either low or 4x4, and softbodys are only good in black 4x4.

A friend had a 620 when I had my 521 in the mid 70s. It was love at first sight. I never got over it. FF to the early 90s and one fell into my lap. They are beautiful looking. Nothing wrong with the 521 but looks don't even enter into the discussion. My 521 was like a mean ugly dog but when it's your dog you love it anyway.
