Sanctuary city policies are ruining California — here’s why I left

As Democrats promoted sanctuary city policies and Governor Jerry Brown began his early prisoner release program of convicted felons, drug dealers and other offenders, I no longer felt safe as a single female walking home from work in California.

Now in California, 13,500 inmates are released early every month due to overcrowding. That’s an increase of 34 percent over just the last few years according to the Los Angeles Times.

All of this comes at a time when illegal immigrant criminal activity is drowning the state’s resources. Already, approximately one-fourth of the prison inmate population are illegal immigrants being housed on the taxpayers’ dime.

While liberals often suggest that the illegal immigrant population is relatively low and therefore no threat to public safety, federal crime statistics show that a heavy percentage, criminal offenders and murderers are illegal immigrants. According to an article earlier this year at TheHill, “a population of just over 3.5 percent residing in the U.S. unlawfully committed 22 percent to 37 percent of all murders in the nation.”

In the Kate Steinle murder case, we knew so little about the violent illegal immigrant offender that he was actually indicted under another name. Initially, he was reported to be Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, but the name under which he was just acquitted last night is Jose Ines Garcia Zarate. It begs the question, if we can’t even verify a person’s true identity should they really be in our country walking our streets among the public?

The evidence clearly shows that illegal immigrants's criminal activity increasingly places law-abiding American citizens at risk.

That an entire state would allow its residents to be placed beneath the rights of illegal criminal immigrants is a travesty. The fact that liberals even suggest that those who have no legal claim to residence here even have “rights” is a laughable premise to begin with.

That's right and how do you think they would react to a corporate and 1% tax cut being funded by future cuts to their Social Security and Medicare?

Funding?? Just trying to not add to debt.. because that's important after tripling it over that last ten years.

:) :) :)

Cali is ripe for change. It's an overtaxed populace being simultaneously dictated to and ignored by their tone-deaf bureaucracy as two of their major industries - Hollywood and Silicone Valley - crash and burn. Hollywood is reeling from the sex scandals and the tech community is fighting hard for visas for foreign workers to continue to be brought in for jobs that Americans can do. The Steinle verdict will have less national impact than the OJ verdict but more Cali impact than the same.

Take illegal immigration out of the equation. A man shot a handgun in a public area with the expressed intent of killing a cute and cuddly seal. Animal-loving, gun-hating Cali ignored all of this to flip a middle finger to Trump. It's like uber-feminist Steinem rewriting leftist canon in 1998 for Bill Clinton by saying that a groper who votes the liberal line should get a free pass for the first transgression. It's that significant a shift. What changes it will eventually bring are unknown but it's a major weakening of the Cali status quo.

A dozen a-10's would cripple the majority of NK's artillery. The exact reason they used to have some stationed in Korea, they might even still be there I'm not sure. Nothing fucks shit up like bullets the size of a redbull can at more than 3000 per minute.

By my math that's 4 minutes worth. Has anyone done the math on the NK army's blind obedience to the state? Surely the average grunt must think there's something very wrong there. If freed of retaliation from 'Big Brother' what do they really think? How strong is their will to fight for it.

Not true!  Since the 1960s North Korea has dug caverns in the South Facing walls of gullies and canyons.  Inside are artillery pieces which can be wheeled out, fired and quickly returned to safety,  Unless you spot the caverns [and hope they don't have blast doors] you have a hard time destroying these hidden cannons  Fuel/air munitions are a probability, but then you have one attacking plane per cannon!  Not a good math problem.

They have been brain washed from birth!  And the "fattest man in North Korea" has been purging all signs of any opposition to his continuance of sole rule as the dynastic heir to Kim Il Sung the founder of the North Korean state.

So if he trips (for no god can withstand close scrutiny or failures) they will be on him like wolves. He would have done better to surround himself with faithful friends. Perhaps not the uppers but the peasants in the fields will.

...a belief is hard to kill, just look at isis, Nazis, the Japanese during ww2, Vietcong, the DPRK believes that the USA is the one doing the provocation and I woould not be surprise that they believe that it was us who invaded and not the other way around. In fairly sure that the upcoming war games with the US and ROK is being twisted by fat man to feed their fear that the US and ROK is out to get them.

I did not know that. But how well do you think any of that has been maintained? They place is kind of a shit hole, even military installations.

After Steinle verdict, rep unveils bill to imprison officials who shelter illegal immigrants

Indiana Rep. Todd Rokita’s bill is one of the most aggressive pieces of legislation to date aimed at sanctuary city policies, going beyond the Justice Department’s threat to cut off grants to those jurisdictions.

“Politicians don’t get to pick and choose what laws to comply with,” Rokita told Fox News. “Americans are dying because politicians sworn to uphold the law refuse to do so.”

His “Stopping Lawless Actions of Politicians (SLAP) Act” would hold state and local lawmakers criminally responsible for refusing to comply with federal immigration enforcement efforts. The Republican’s bill would subject violators to a $1 million fine and up to five years in prison if they are convicted.

Onboard ICE Air

A look inside the massive immigration enforcement apparatus that Obama built up—and that Trump is now exploiting.

Only five days after taking office, Donald Trump issued an executive order unleashing a nationwide crackdown on undocumented immigrants. Arrests leapt by nearly 40 percent, flooding detention centers with nonviolent offenders and tearing families apart. But the sprawling enforcement apparatus that Trump deployed was built by Barack Obama, who ramped up the border patrol and expelled a record three million immigrants, earning him the title “deporter in chief.”

Never underestimate the enemy. Even if the USA and ROK can knock out most, each KN-09, MRlS system can launch 8 rockets at one time and has a range of 120I'm, well with in reach of Seoul. They have others that can easily reach Seoul and by the time the allies react or try to take them out their rockets will have been launch. Seoul has over 10 million people. Imagine the destruction, chaos, traffic jam if even 10 of those rockets were launch.

California Assemblyman accused of forcing lobbyist into bathroom and masturbating

Sacramento lobbyist Pamela Lopez has claimed that, in 2016, Democratic Assemblyman Matt Dababneh followed her into a bathroom, masturbated in front of her and urged her to touch him. Dababneh has strongly denied the allegation.

"It was Matt Dababneh," Lopez told The Times in a November interview.

Thankfully Trump did not actually say any of that stuff on that Access Hollywood audio.

Some fake news people made a fake audio tape.

So glad POTUS cleared that up.

...yep, I'm so glad Trumpcheeto that up. Billy Bush didn't want to go down by himself, although he did loose his job.
