paradime
It was the morning after Christmas 1973. I was 9 years old and my parents had divorced earlier that year, so the holiday felt awkward and unfamiliar. The house was quiet, and I was laying on my bed looking at the back canyon, our neighborhood playground. I remember thinking about how different everything seemed now. One of my presents was an off white AM transistor radio with a mini earphone (huge nob by today's standards). I didn't have an interest in listening to it until I saw the package unopened on the night stand. I put the 9 volt battery in it, plugged the earphone in and dialed it to 1150 KGB radio. That was the first time I heard this song and I felt renewed hope. Edited July 14, 2022 by paradime 4 Quote Link to comment

Thomas Perkins
"Electricland" is a song by English hard rock supergroup Bad Company. The song was released as the only single from the band's sixth studio album Rough Diamonds. It is the last single released by the band to feature their original line-up, as well as being the last to feature lead singer Paul Rodgers until 1999's "Hey Hey"." 2 Quote Link to comment
