I've been wanting to get a vintage whiskey decanter just because - none of those tacky late 1960s/early 1970 ceramic jobbers from Jim Beam though.

I recently discovered this JW Dant Fort Sill Centennial style and, because eBay's notifications seem to have stopped working, I ended up with two of them.

The one on the left came out of Oklahoma (not far from me) and probably never left the state. Because all it's tax stamps are intact I'll be keeping it and giving the other way for Christmas.

What to put in it.....??? hmmmmm.......why not mix turpentine, varnish remover and aircraft stripper!?!

Somehow I forgot to snap a picture of the McGregor alone in the Pyrex but here's how it turned out.

I've had the Fort Centennial high ball glass for at least the last twenty-five years - used to could pick 'em up at Goodwill all day long for 59¢.

The flavor is a nuanced blend of rusty barbed wire, gonorrhoeic dragon urine and something like napalm re-distilled and ran through embalming equipment but it'll be fun to hear what novices think of it after I pour 'em a shot of it from the purdy jug.

I stopped by there on my way to Virginia about six years ago.

It was one of the days they were closed on,but there were people

there.

I talked to one of the guys there,& he said "Go ahead & look-

around".It's an INCREDIBLE place to go to!They also have a cherry -

looking B210 there.

When I got back to California,I sent them what I would have

paid for admission.

My '95 Dakota has major rust underneath,& looks like it'll be a parts truck.

The steering box pulled off of the frame.

I'll need transportation. What are your thoughts on this?

I call bullshit on those claimed MPG's.

Vehicles are thru the roof.  Its a truck and a Hardbody.   Looks ready to roll.  You could easily do worse.

That one of my thoughts too.If it's as good as the pictures look,I don't think

I could go wrong.A Friend of mine near Sacramento has one.His odometer died with

something like 450,000 miles on it.

I was thinking about a 1985 Celica GT that I looked at,but it's an automatic.

That looks like a steal, in this current market. And the bed sides haven't rotted out above the wheels yet, so bonus.  😁
