captaingamez
Yeah, the 97 is also usually a takedown, But they all lack trigger disconnects  Quote Link to comment

MikeRL411
Yeah, the 97 is also usually a takedown, But they all lack trigger disconnects  So if you hold the trigger and pump the fhand grip it will fire as fast as you can move your forearm. Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
lol gun post on behalf of my room mate... Looks like Afghanistan. Quote Link to comment
Fat510
The '97 has the heat shield and all that, but they're more WWI than WWII looks similar to the mossberg 590 Quote Link to comment
captaingamez
So if you hold the trigger and pump the fhand grip it will fire as fast as you can move your forearm. Precisely. In addition they hold 6 rounds in the tube with the plug removed. NOTHING holds that many rounds today, except a streetsweeper, lol Quote Link to comment
q-tip
Most "security" shot guns hold 8 in the tube.... Quote Link to comment
Fat510
i thought 8 shells was the standard. Quote Link to comment
q-tip
Not for a field gun, that by law is 3 Quote Link to comment

captaingamez
Yeah I think it depends on the state, some states its 4 some its 3, and I think there are even some where you can only have 2 in the tube while hunting. But if its your defense gun, and you have a SPAS-12, you can have 7+1 total in the gun. I am not aware of any tube magazines that hold more than the 7 that the SPAS holds, but I really dont know honestly. Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
This shotgun holds 10+. B) 2 Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
That would be like stuffing a stainless steel thermos in your pocket A thermos full of awesome. B) I carry a full size 1911 a lot, so other than the thickness issue I don't have much fuss with carrying a larger than average weapon. Hell, a few times I carried my Ruger Super Redhawk when wearing a jacket... Quote Link to comment

q-tip
He said full size, so 5" Quote Link to comment
mrbigtanker
Well that's why I asked because some people think a 4" is full size. Quote Link to comment

Essentially a 12 gauge shoulder mounted revolver, but notoriously unsafe to load, Quote Link to comment
q-tip
Well that's why I asked because some people think a 4" is full size. 4" is "commander" size. 3" is "agent" or "carry" depending on who you talk to any way Quote Link to comment
captaingamez
I know theres shotguns that hold a bunch of rounds, but I said tube fed pump actions. I dont think theres many or maybe any that hold more than 7 in the tube. Quote Link to comment
