vindats1
yep, I do have parts on the kitchen counter..where else do you work on them? Oh yea, the shop...too cold down there. Seriously, this is what I do...sell parts for Datsuns cars and trucks pre 70 mostly. I do have some NOS Z parts and Roadster parts, mostly earlier stuff. Got nearly one of each model in my yard to look at...better than a parts book. A great excuse to play with cars. Also have three dogs to watch the car parts! And killer chickens. Basically anyone in my extended family who has forced air head has been installed by me :D I really didn't want to do it half this long. 69FJWagon
WOW, alot of high profile jobs on here and i thought my job sounded impressive... I build liquid nitrogen injection and transfer systems for the food and beverage industries as well as the semiconductor industry. sounds cool but it was a case of who I knew not what... I also volunteer as a pit crew guy(tire changer and fill in guy) for Troy Ermishs' stock car team, it has its perks I crew for him, he owns the 510 parts outlet and I own 510's Quote Link to comment

tnip
i have such an appreciation for firefighters. i did a lil wildfire training for a job i had and then actually had to use my training quite a few times. it was completely normal to put out a dozen fires ranging from less than 1 sqft upwards of about 40sqft was a nice one. but i saw many that were much larger. biggest we had burned about 3 acres in about 5 hours, turned into a controlled burn.... since i haven't said, i'm not currently employed (laziness?) but the job i'm referring to was in durango, colorado. worked on the track maintanence crew for a steam railroad, and then almost immed got promoted to the position of patrolman, which required piloting my own vehicle on the tracks before or after steam trains full of between 100 - 600 passengers. and most of the time i was their safety crew. you are constantly in contact with alot of people via radio, but when you're hours from anybody else physically, it doesn't matter how much you can talk on the radio. but in the last 3 years i've had quite a few jobs. some interesting, some not so much.
