Is it still idling high, or did you guys take care of that as well? got the timing set to about 13, still need to mess with the carb. its still set to the way the car was running before. datzenmike Posted September 21, 2010 Report Share Posted September 21, 2010 ok so when we were putting things together we didnt have a chain with gold links so skib called atomchurch and asked him to count the links. turns out he counted the links for a l16 chain and its 2 links smaller so it was just off a tooth :lol: See? L16 and Z cars have the same cam chain length so skibby was setting them the way he knew. The L20B is 20mm taller so the chain would be slightly longer. No harm done, all's well again. Yea. lol I totaly forgot that the L20B chain was like 2 links longer so I just called atom and asked about an L series chain thinking nothing of it :rofl: we got a new chain with gold links and its 44 connections apart instead of the L16/18/L6s that are 42 connections. its running muuuuuuch better than it ever has tho :lol: pics/video coming as soon as I can find my damn camera cord :angry: Quote Link to comment
