What did you end up selling it for ?

The new owner asking $51000.00 doesn't mean he'll get that. He'll haggle if he wants to move it.

'79 I was riding shotgun in my girlfriend's B210 Honey Bee with honey comb hub caps and AM radio with 5 presets. Shit, a Karate Kid convertible 510 would'a been TOTALLY bitch'n.

In 1979 I bought my first record. Van Halen. My friend's older sister was listening to Pink Floyd's The Wall and I thought that was the craziest shit I ever heard.

I didn't even know what a Datsun was in 1979. Northern Minnesota wasn't big on imports back then. I saw my first tortilla in the 1980s.

Similar to my college friend.  We went west from Wisconsin in '82 to get my '69 510 from my brother (Long Beach area).  He had never been to a mexican restaurant.  He still talks about it, in fact he mentioned it this weekend when I was visiting my homeland in Milwaukee.

We wanted to start an import shop as we were some of the first into those vehicles.  Early Civics, BMW 1600s and 2002s, Volvo bricks.  Only guys around did British or some Bimmer, and VW of course. Nothing too Datsun centric yet.

My grandparents had the first Lexus in Duluth. Had to drive to Minneapolis for service.
