Yes the fine print does say: Talk About Anything. (within reason we do have some standards) 534 pages and well above 13,000 posts (and only three years old?) I've come to the conclusion that there's something to say and it's not all is political.

 

 

 

 

 

My opinion is what it is, yours is yours. Thats fine. I think its bullshit to let that weed grow in our garden. Its already got a reputation I wouldnt want..But dont take my word for it im only very active in datsuns socially offline. Monthly meetings shows etc..people talk. Like I said, This site has a reputation I wouldnt want if it were mine.This is the last ill speak of it.

Yeah, I would agree with that assessment of what direction Troy leans, but he's definitely too busy to give 2 shits about sharing his views. I spent many hours at his shop in Hayward, and in Tracey. Talking to him about racing and some of his F'n stupid clients, it's  pretty safe to say he's not a devout Christian. With Rebello there's no question. When Dave found out I couldn't drive any more, he took me aside at his shop and asked if I've accepted Jesus as my lord and savior, because he cares. He's a genuinely honorable guy and his reputation speaks for itself.

greeted you as my the alternate identity , my older sisters named me .

Cool!  We have paddocked next to Troy I think twice over the years.....once at Road America, once at COTA.  I like Troy, good guy...........some don't!  We've traded quite a few parts.  I always liked Dave, but one of his big bore race engines failed on us, cracked a bore TWICE, he blamed us first time, but honored his work, HOWEVER he only sleeved the ONE CYL (should have used another block), then another bore failed second run.  And I mean failed right away!  Our customer said he was done with Rebello & my boss followed his lead, never to use Rebello again.  We all felt like Dave did not treat us fairly.  He told us AND charged us for sonic testing, but after the second failure, we sent THAT BLOCK out to see for ourselves.............that block FAILED the sonic test for a big bore, core shift was NOT favorable.  I had to walk away too.  Again, sad, cuz I was the guy that talked with suppliers like Dave & I really did like him.  Oh well...............

Why do people get so upset about political discussion ? My opinion (nearly worthless) is people just don't want to hear the reality or painful truth about what they vote for.Feelings get hurt when they can't justify who they support even though those they support create policy that harms them more than helps them.I realize they don't need to justify anything but in that case don't fucking complain about higher taxes,higher fuel costs,your last trip to the grocery store,forced vaccines,or being forced to wear a mask for two years.

Bummer. Sorry to hear that story. Dave and Brian have saved my skin on a few occasions. That said, I've never bought an engine from them.

All ballots should have a running candidate named Disenchanted. In the US as in Canada 1 in 3 voters don't.
