RatVonDude
damn that video gives me acid flashbacks. Sublime pulled alot of there sound off of Operation Ivy who latter went on to form Rancid. It's funny cuz Tim Armstrong from Rancid writes music for Pink and I think Katy Perry. Quote Link to comment
Cpl620
The Toyes formed in 1983 Sublime 1988 while the lyrics are not to the T, this is common in a LOT of their songs. 1 Quote Link to comment

tr8er
^Crap. :) Sorry. Don't like drug dealers. Truth be told, if it was legal, I'd kill 'em all. Your Avatar is one of history's most notorious drug dealers. But I think I know what you mean, and you can't hate on Jay. 1 Quote Link to comment
smoke
If we kill all the drug dealers, who will be our doctors? I'm too old to go to medical school. Quote Link to comment

datrod
This guy will just be sampled for other unoriginal original trash. Notice the gap between his teeth is as big as the gap between his eyes.... Dude, That was at least good for a laugh... Fucking funny shit. Quote Link to comment
RatVonDude
"The Toyes formed in 1983 while the lyrics are not to the T, this is common in a LOT of their songs". It's a cover, the Toyes are the originals, I'm sure Sublime is well aware of that. That song was a huge success for both groups. Not the biggest Sublime fan, they bother the shit outta me. drunk skater rock, so cal 90's frat boy If you like punk Ska fusion these guys were great. The singer Jesse is super nice, very enlighten human unlike Sublime who ripped them off. http://youtu.be/59hHWeB893Y 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Zeppelin were HUGE rip off artists. Which kinda sucks. No one even knew about squeezing lemons until Z. BTW the worst group to listen to live. Should be a category for best song sung by other than the the writer. 1 Quote Link to comment
RatVonDude
who Bob Dylan? My girlfriend is sooo cool she hates Bob Dylan, she also thinks John Lennon ruined Yoko Ono's art career. What a righteous 25 year old cutie pie! Whenever I see 70's classic rock records my junk points straight down, it reminds me of having the flu as an infant child. Quote Link to comment
HRH
Your Avatar is one of history's most notorious drug dealers. But I think I know what you mean, and you can't hate on Jay. Yeah but Jay is holding everything except coke, heroin, and your cock, bong! :D Ratvon, seriously, hate for Dylan? And 70's classic rock? Whaaaatt? How about this 70's classic rock: I don't think you can be a car guy and not like this song, but maybe you can. 3 Quote Link to comment
HRH
I made it :38 into that fucking horrible Chinese food song. Wow, just wow. Gives Rebecca Black a run for the money. It's like a twitter feed plucked out of thin air and put into a song. Except it's not really a song. It's a bunch of crap held together with a beat track and it makes no difference to anyone. But some dipshit producer thought, hey, dumb suburban pre-teens will like this, let's sell it to them. And it'll cost zip to make! 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Your Avatar is one of history's most notorious drug dealers. Nawww pop culture hero at best Yeah but Jay is holding everything except coke, heroin, and your cock, bong! :D ....and he's only a fictitious person. BTW I haven't clicked on any of these vids... I accept without question that they are shit. 1 Quote Link to comment
HRH
See, here's the difference kids, when a song has no point and no direction, it can still be awesome, mainly because the people singing them have talent and can make it funny. Also note, the kid in the tub is now one of the daughters on "Modern Family." Just realized that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8U3e0-RHlfc Quote Link to comment
RatVonDude
"Ratvon, seriously, hate for Dylan? And 70's classic rock? Whaaaatt? How about this 70's classic rock:" Just a little burnt on it, if Bob Dylan could just play 'Visions of Johanna" like the studio version without all the cheaky hobo commentary it would be nice. No I don't really like 70's classic rock, I like Can, Eno, Bowie, Robert Wyatt, Soft Machine and Kevin Ayers tho, Personal preference just me. Sounds arrogant but " Classic Rock " is probably my least favorite genres, Prog Rock Yes! Quote Link to comment
HRH
Meh, not sure I like CAN that much. But I know what you mean. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Ummagumma and a Saucer Full Of Secrets. Even Floyd produced some memorable crap on the way up. Quote Link to comment
smoke
Floyd was a good concert (I think). Quote Link to comment
RatVonDude
Meh, not sure I like CAN that much. But I know what you mean. That isn't the best Can experience, actually they were way better when Malcolm Moony sang and not that Japanese guy. Now 80's metal/rock??????????????    http://youtu.be/yPIi2TVOcRg 1 Quote Link to comment
q-tip
Friday, that Chinese food song are all written and produced by the same guy, its the black guy that shoes up on all of the videos. There is a lot of that crap Quote Link to comment
tr8er
That Chinese food song is a perfect example of what happens when people who don't do drugs think they can make music. Thank you drugs for every song I've ever loved. And Steely Dan is just about as bad as it gets for songs that I'm likely to hear on the radio. Quote Link to comment
