I was saying that when lines start getting crossed, there should have been a quick warning, much like the 2 mike handed out last night in post tits and ass. just a quick nudge to let people know they need to tone it down a bit, and most people will, not all, but most. and redeye, while I agree that members have a responsibility to report shit, I've always assumed the report button was for when we thought the mods needed to know about some questionable posting, not that it was for questionable posting in a thread that the mods were already aware of. I just figured that since yourself and mike were fairly active in that particular thread, that you had both already seen it (and responded to it in some cases) and had thrown the rules out the window or didn't care. i'm all for being a bit of a dick and having some fun at other peoples expense, or other people having fun at mine. but like I said, theres a line that was crossed in the other thread that went beyond a bit of fun to just being nasty, and the end result was yourself and mike getting fed up with people being assholes. Tensions run high when change is afoot. Some people react differently to situations and it's a natural human reaction to freak out from time to time. Sometimes a nexus of craziness happens and aaAAARRRRrGHHH SCFH @!%&@%@%$!!! is what happens. Hard to enforce the rules and deal with a change such as that while addressing the problems actually created by the change. Hopefully we are through the looking glass on the new classifieds and everyone that got pissed off will come back cooled off and ready to hang. One last thought. If we banned all the assholes here, it would be a forum with like 2 or 3 members... Me, Skib and Mike would have to be the first to go... :rofl: ... Quote Link to comment

Why isn't there an auto spell check?.... Or is there and I just haven't set something up right? I'm so used to everything having spell check, that when I type on here I'm so paranoid I'm going to make spelling errors. My posts have spell check but it doesn't auto correct. Not sure I would want auto correct, some stuff I misspell intentionally. :lol: Quote Link to comment

The text is up to the poster and if he isn't worried about his grade 3 education then neither am I. Spelling Check: In FF; Write a word into the the text box (like you are typing a reply). Right click the word and select "Check Spelling" and then make sure its set to "English" for the dictionary. I found the forum update a long while back broke this (something to do with the Rich Text Editor). In Chrome; Write a word, right click, under "Spell Checker Options" Make sure the English dictionary is selected, and that there is a check mark next to "Check the spelling of text fields" Quote Link to comment

Would you rather Ratsun go like HybridZ and donate $20 just to sell your car/truck? It does weed out spammers but will people really want to donate and keep the site going nothing is free.
