graveltrapp
Lower for sure, nice period look though and great color on the car. Never have seen that red before. Quote Link to comment
JAKE719
I had these for when i found a Datto.... Ran low on funds so i had to let them go. They are STUPID RARE Volk 84c, 15x7 +0. I miss them. And now i have a set of these Compomotive MO5's. Theyre also pretty rare, made in England. These are 16x7 +15 and will be going on my Galant VR4 when i can afford some good rubber. 1 Quote Link to comment

I won a set of Fifteen52 tarmacs that are Modern versions of those you have.... Quote Link to comment

And yea, i was uspset when i had to let them go too. BUT, they made me a lot of money. I paid $300 for them from a soldier who was shipping out, and sold them in the exact same condition for $800 to a wheel whore. Best part was, all i dod was place the ad with the pics, say "i know what they're worth, no lowballing" and not list a price. The guy was super excited to have them for that too.... Kinda makes me think i SHOULD have kept them. Oh well! Quote Link to comment

You could have had them polished and powder coated for less than $500 and made a cool 1K off of them. I am a bit of a wheel whore myself..... hehehe Quote Link to comment
JAKE719
Yea, i had planned on pulling them apart and getting them blasted back to bare and then doing the centers a flat bronze, and re-polishing the lips a bit too(i love polishing sheit, especially wheels). The only stuff they didnt have was the optional cooling discs that thread on over the centercap area. If i had those, i DEFINITELY would've kept them. They were in really, really good shape for being 28 years old (mfr date of may 1984). BUT, like i said, had to do it! Shoulda, coulda, woulda..... Quote Link to comment

DatMo
Sheee, If I could rock em, i'd roll 13s! This is one of my favorite dimes... But I have to stick with at least 15s to handle the power and big brakes. But 13s look so killer! Tristin
what are these rims!? this car looks awessommeeeeeeeeeeeee Those look like Watanabe R-types. Quote Link to comment
DatMo
Those look like Watanabe R-types. damn. watanabes are usually out of my price range. any reps you're aware of? Quote Link to comment
Tristin
Not of the specific R-types, but that style in general is commonly replicated. Enkei, Panapsport, Rota, they all usually have similar rims to those. 1 Quote Link to comment
