edit: I'm not too ready because rims are far ahead. I plan to use money for better things to improve the car. visuals come last.

but the tips i earn can be saved towards some new rims.

Yes 510 lug pattern is 4x114.3 or 4x4.5 depending where you look

if i switched to the 280zx front assy, are they still 114.3?

Sure are but you need a 0 or negative offset wheel because the hub face is closer to the strut tube

Thats a good rule, but not a requirement. I have 15x 7J +10 in the front and they clear fine. For 7J thats as positive as you should go; I would recommend at least 0 on a 7J though... will make your life easier. 

 

Datmo, like Q said though the hub face is .75in closer to the strut tube so take that into account if youre choosing rims now and want to run them on 280zx struts later.

I narrowed down to enkei compe's or xxr 531's.

but i think xxr's are 15x8. 

enkeis are 15x7.

 

and they will be ran on 280zx struts.

Both just on width will fit fine. Its all about the offset.

Well after reading form q-tip. I was planning to go with 0.

so looks like this just made my choice harder. lol.

I wanted to paint my car white in the way future and the gunmetal would look good.
