d.p
Yeah I don’t know what I’m going to do. I can let it go on BAT and get something else to work on or get a daily driver that isn’t my M3. Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
Do you have another truck? Don't appreciate the convenience of a truck when you need it? Quote Link to comment
Stoffregen Motorsports
Everyone needs a truck. Period. 1 Quote Link to comment
d.p
No I don't have another truck but have had a truck or one at my disposal for as long as I can remember. If I sold the Datsun I would have no access to one and of course I appreciate the convenience of having a truck just not one that I only drive when I have to and not in the winter at all. I mean its not like I am going to take the Datsun snowboarding you know what I mean? Quote Link to comment

d.p
I can’t. Love that car as it’s a 6 speed manual and last year of F80 M3s before the abomination of G8x generation. Quote Link to comment
d.p
Still on the fence about what I’m going to do. I feel like it’s a waste for it to sit idle and not get used. Maybe just let someone else enjoy it more often then I have been lately. never really been someone who keeps something that doesn’t get used. Quote Link to comment
Stoffregen Motorsports
That's always been my philosophy too. If it is very special to you, figure out a way to keep it, even if you don't drive it that much. If it's not, then send it packing. Quote Link to comment
d.p
Well think I am going to sell my truck to my buddy for $15k. Good thing is he won’t ever sell it and will let me buy back if I ever wanted to. 2 Quote Link to comment

d.p
He’s my best friend since we were 12 so I trust him. I doubt I’d ever buy it back but it will be in good hands. Probably going to buy a Raptor and have that as a truck. Something I can drive all the time. 1 Quote Link to comment

d.p
Must be already gay as I had a raptor back in 2013. I just want a truck that can be driven year around with lots of room. Quote Link to comment
mainer311
I’d certainly own a Raptor if I was out in the Midwest somewhere, but they just aren’t practical over here. Too big for trails. Quote Link to comment

Too big for trails. my dude….there are a places to take them down here. Local raptor club does all sorts of shit. This pic was from a raptor off-road event at the local road spot. Had like 25 of them that day. Edited August 11, 2022 by d.p 1 Quote Link to comment

d.p
Yeah I don’t really care for rock crawling, too slow paced for me. I prefer going fast off road and hitting jumps(within reason). That pic of my truck was from here: https://www.rc4x4.org. They have rock crawling and all that but I never made it to that side. 1 Quote Link to comment
mainer311
Yeah, a lot of people from my club go there. It’s a bit too far for me to drive down for one day. Quote Link to comment
Stoffregen Motorsports
I don't think trail-riding is what Ford had in mind when they designed the Raptor. Dunes is where they shine. Quote Link to comment
