^^This post is a bit amusing. I was walking by the grey coupe yesterday and had one of those quick thoughts of "I should look into getting a set of vents for that".

 

Maybe I shouldn't have quit that job after all.

Just because. Still have to print out a couple other bits for it and paint it. Note: the text looks way better in real life.

Took like 20hrs to print. I'm really really tempted to make a silicone mold to cast these in resin.

 

This is actually the second version, tried printing the two part one first and the warping made the bits not fit together nicely. I tried using the model Ordnance lab used at first and it just looks not as nice with the seam.

ok so now I think I understand why I need a 3D printer.. This is my kind of "art" lol

Datsun related. Prototype screw in funnel copied from one I saw for sale. Printed in PETG which is supposedly OIL resistant.

 

Fits KA, but not Z or L series (same thread but it is very tight as the L uses deeper thread root and very slightly smaller barrel). Should fit SR20 and RB too I guess. I dug out an old A series cover and I'm going to redesign the end to fit (much larger so easy to do off this model, this should also fit early L series covers).
